What is PET (polyethylene terephthalate):
Plastic Box PET Baby Care Packaging
It is the most widely used beverage packaging material nowadays. Because PET can be easily cooled to obtain PET products which are basically amorphous, highly transparent and easy to stretch, as packaging materials, PET can be made into biaxial stretching packaging film, high strength and transparency stretching blow-moulding bottles from amorphous bottle embryos, and also can be directly extruded or blow-moulded into non-stretching PET_hollow container. Hollow PET containers, especially stretch blow molding bottles, give full play to the performance of PET and have a good display effect on content, performance and cost are equal to other hollow containers. Therefore, when PET is used as packaging material, it is basically stretch blow moulding, and the most widely used are dozens of milliliters to 2 liters of small bottles, but also large bottles with capacity of 30 liters. Since the early 1980s, because of its light weight, easy formation, low price and easy mass production, it has developed rapidly since its advent.
In just 20 years or so, it has become the most important beverage packaging form in the world. It is not only widely used in the packaging of carbonated beverages, bottled water, condiments, cosmetics, liquor, dried fructose and other products, but also used in the packaging of fruit juice and tea drinks after special treatment of hot filling bottles.
